When a family history is investigated, the sources generally reveal statistical information (births, deaths, marriages, etc.) and/or infamous deeds. The dirt farmer who led a good life and raised his children to be fine upstanding citizens is not neccessarily recorded other than statisically. The farmer who raised the largest tomato in the county may make the news, but the man who is despised by his neighbors, beats his wife, has court suits against him for unpaid debts, or is arrested for drunken behaviour in public may be more easily found in the records. Here is my Ancestors chart, for a listing of the surnames I'm really interested in. Jump directly to the Surname Index Page. NOTE: Since this is now all on another system, you will have to use your "Back" button (or a bookmark) to return here.
